Just Catching Up

Now that my evenings aren't so full of t.v. (thanks to season finalies!) I'll have more time to dedicate to keeping the blog current. Jonah is now 2 1/2 and is learning how to use the potty and always has his finger up his nose. His verbal skills have increased greatly and there are some days he doesn't even take a breath between sentences! He entertains us greatly with all of the clever things he says.

Mickey is 6 months old and has started sitting well. She went through a terriably grumpy stage leading up mastering sitting, but now that she's more able, she's clamed back down to happy baby. She started baby food. I have to feed her when we eat or she gets upset. She's just gotta be involved with what the rest of us are doing. She's always ready to go, go, go! She is truly facinated with the world around her. It all gets better from here!














I spend my days with the kids maintaining the routine. Some days are rough, but they all end with bedtime. It's been very warm and sunny and that's been great. Roland finished closing in our side yard so now we have a patio, lawn, and a playground. It's a wonderful area and there's even enough room for Jonah to ride his bike. I look forward to spending time enjoying the place we've created.
